Pre-order Questions and Answers
Why do you sell everything as pre-orders?
CRYPTID: The Creepy Card Battling Game is an indie game with a small fan base (for now). As such, it is extremely expensive to print and publish cards, boxes and accessories at a price point where we can at least break even while offering products to you for a fair price.
When ordering items in bulk from our printing partner, the higher quantity we can print at once, the cheaper it is for us due to quantity discounts. The best way for us to afford and reach those quantity discounts is to accept pre-orders of items then ship them out in regular intervals.
When do pre-orders usually ship?
We promise to ship pre-orders by the quarter depending on your order date. Here's our current shipping scheme:
QUARTER 1 SEGMENT:
Orders placed February 1st thru April 30th should ship by May 31st.
QUARTER 2 SEGMENT:
Orders placed May 1st thru July 31st should ship by August 31st.
QUARTER 3 SEGMENT:
Orders placed August 1st thru October 31st should ship by November 30th.
QUARTER 4 SEGMENT:
Orders placed November 1st thru January 31st should ship by February 28th.
If stock is available due to overstock and you are next in queue for a specific item, you will be notified that your purchase will be shipping (fully or partially if you ordered different pre-order items) before the end of the segment.
Can I request a refund for my pre-order?
Absolutely! Just send a message to the support team with your order number and request a refund for the items you no longer need/want.
